Are we Christians because of what God can do for us – or because of what we can do for God? After all, that is the description of true love that God so beautifully illustrates throughout the entire Bible. Putting someone else first – putting self last.

Often times we call out, “God, help me!” We expect instant assistance in whatever area we are seeking help in forgetting that God is not a microwave.

It’s important for me to remember that every single day God is calling out, “Daisy, help me!” Do I run to help him as quickly as I expect him to run to me?
