Keep Holding On

Are you in an overwhelming, bleak situation with no end in sight? Is desperation taking over your heart and strangling every bit of hope that you have left?

Don’t give up. Keep holding on. God can and will heal you. He will make you whole again. You just have to dig deep, gather up every ounce of hurt and anguish, and place it in His hands. Seek God and give the situation to Him.

When Jehoshaphat found himself staring face to face with an army of great magnitude – an army that he could not possibly defeat – he cried out to God not only in desperation, but also in certainty. He knew God was willing and able to take his situation and fix it.

The same God that defeated an army for Jehoshaphat is the same God that will defeat the army that is coming against you today.

God hasn’t changed. We just have to seek Him and believe.

“Then Jehoshaphat stood in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court, and said: “O LORD God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?” – 2 Chronicles 20:5-6

“And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15
