Let Go

I can sit here and dwell on the sins of my past, or I can choose to let go and grow.

It’s up to me.

God already did His part and then some. And He did it with indescribable mercy and grace. It’s hard to forget the past; it’s hard to let go. We’ve all done things that we are not proud of. We’ve done things that haunt us day in and day out.

But if we dwell in the pit of our past sins, then that’s where we’ll be – stuck in the pit. Forever. Wouldn’t the devil love that. God’s people being stuck – never able to reach their full potential for Him.

I don’t want to be stuck, guys. If God can forgive me, then I need to bust through these chains and shackles that are tying to hold me down. Jesus released me from the bondage of my sins the day I invited Him into my heart – it’s time for me to release myself.

Let go, guys. Refuse to stay in the pit.

“For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage.” Galatians 5:1
